I would start with a citronella bark collar first. It gives a little puff of citronella when the dog barks. I would start with this.

A lot of people use them with great success but be careful. I like the idea of the citronella one.

We have 2 collies – a breed that in known as a constant barker. We moved into a neighborhood where loud noises are not tolerated. They never had serious issues until this house- the first place they’ve lived with a chain link fence. We put PetSafe Bark Control collars on them. They have 6 levels on correction moving from lowest to highest if they keep barking. It was amazing how quickly they learned that barking was unacceptable. Within 2 days the frequency went down and now, we can take them off most of the time and replace them for a few hours when the boys need to be reminded.
That was for the barking, but you still need to address the separation anxiety issues. That isn’t a problem that I have experienced, but I’m certain your vet or the local trainer at PetSmart (or other pet stores) could give you useful tips.
Best of Luck to you!

Yup, they work well.. Fast and efficient. Dog learns quickly not to bark when they are wearing the collar.. They learn that they themselves have control over whether they get a shock or not.

We lived in the country where our dog was free to talk to the world and we moved to a closed community. We received a number of complaints when we were not home, and were forced to do something quickly. Barked collar sounds so inhuman. As a last resource, we got a bark collar. It resolved the problem.
If you get one, get the one that has a video that trains you how to use it. A collar by it self is little good. The dog has no idea why it is getting blasted. There is a lot of training that goes along with it as the dog needs to know that if it barks, it gets blasted. If it does not bark, it gets a reward. I suggest you get some extra special top grade treats to use only with the collar. In a short period of time our dog looks forward to warring it as she would receive a special reward. Latter, we were able to put it on her with it turned off.
There are different try of collars: Scent and shock. I leave this part to you.

There has got to be other ways. I would NEVER, EVER put a shock collar on my dog.
