  • my neighbor brought home a lost puppy out of nowhere, but they couldn’t keep it so i took it in under my wing. the vet said it was about 6 month old and i started training him the basics and now i am trying to train some advance.

  • love your videos direct and to the point. very easy tips for the owner

  • It made me laugh too.

  • First i taught my dog how not to jump(successful) and then when it comes to sitting and staying his jumping habits come back, i could almost say that he is untrainable.

  • Lol, I found that comment funny, I don’t know why. I’m sure you were serious.

  • i tried and my dog scratched my face

  • You’re welcome!

  • thanks for the help!

  • You’re welcome.

  • ok I learned here something, thank you

  • thanks, I’ll keep on trying:)

  • Keep working on it. When I am working with a small dog I like to train with them up on a table. It makes it easier for you to train.

    Good luck!

    All the best,
    Eric

  • everythings fine except he can’t sit back up from laying down, and he can’t shake hands, do you think it could be because his paws are to short? he’s a dachshund.

  • You are welcome!

    Best,
    Eric

  • I’ve just been practicing this with my dog and its amazing how fast he learned it, I thought he was stuborn and untrainable, but this acctualy worked, thx Eric:)

  • You make it seem easy its not my dog just lower its neck and if i dont give her the treat she just start biting me for it

  • Successive approximation. Sometimes a behavior needs to be broken down. Your dog lowers her head, reward, she lowers it a little more, reward. There is more about this on my website AmazingDogTrainingMan dot com.

    Good luck,
    Eric

  • Ive tried that with my dog but it doesn’t work :(
She sits down but doesn’t lie down. I lower the treat near the ground and she just lowers her head!
