  • I have 2 Bluenose Pits. They are intelligent like retrievers and friendly. They are far from evil. I know with the bad public perception, I really need to train them well and maintain control.

  • your smart

  • I agree!

  • i still wonder why people use the stay command and wait command.Once you have told the dog to do something eg SIT it shouldnt do anything else till you tell it too.Just makes it a little easier using less commands ..but only my 2 cents worth..but still GREAT videos

  • guys are pit bulls really evil ??????

  • really good info..thx alot man

  • read my comment above that technique in y oppinion is that best way to teach a dog to stay. the more you train a stay the better it gets. so its up to you. i have my dogs do down stays when im cooking or when im watching a tv show. so i dont go outside to train it i just fuse it into their day

  • im not sure why more people dont knwo this trick. my dogs both have very good stays even around distractions. tie your dog to something tell him to sit, walk away and walk back and give him a treat. but only if he stays in position if he gets up or barks are breaks the stay in a way you dont want, stop. dont go back to your dog until he gets back in position
eventually you dog will have a really good stay

  • bulldogs are a special case.. first try claming the dog down with a calm voice and surrounding.. if that doesn’t work, take your dog out for a walk.. get on your bike or rollerblades and him on a leash.. let him run and wear out himself.. after the exercise, your bulldog will be more calm and no as distracted.. cool him down with water and then try the exercise.. bulldogs are like “bulls”, you have to release him from his “bull” state into his “dog” state.. try it out and tell me how it went..

  • how about french bulldogs, they are not so obedient

  • all of his vids i saw he had diff dogs what are u talking about

  • yep sure hes gonna use border collies , itll help him more cz they are the smartest breed

  • and border collies

  • do u all recognize that all of his dogs are pitbulls… that means pitbulls are exellent pets just to use them for training methods.
    F bsl!!

  • Only a stupid person that doesn’t know how to work with dogs would say something like that.

  • there are stupid dogs;)

  • Awesome Video :D

  • pittbuls arent stupid animals try to do it better

  • go buy the book

  • there are no stupid dogs… just stupid owners

  • wow that was amazing my pitt is too stupid to do anything

  • this guy is great just these videos helped me train my beagle

  • well the thing is how to teach her the first time… Do I have to hold her or wut else??
and also for how long do I need to train her every day?? She’s doberman

  • AH I SEE duh (me so dumb) my rottie will wait for ever outside and lissen well but my lab is older at 5years now and i cant get her to stay she stays until i turn my back to walk away then she follows me. wow i feel dumb.

  • wow, great points to regard that could not seem important but in deed could make big differences. I was doing wrong with the stay command by not releasing my Puppy when i leave the house, cus I used it ecxactly as Eric mentioned in this vid, then she was getting the idea that she could release whenever she wanted. Now Im working on it and “Bomba” is showing good improvements.

    Thank you Eric.
