Training a dog is like training a woman. You should not spare the rod and fear not hit them with a strong hand. This is the best way to make them listen. Otherwise they will disobey. My dog and my wife both my commandments. Beat them. Trust me. It works.

@ The doctrine BellaMrdch burg website helped me a lot with my education. They are very accomplished coaches. They have Michael Ellis in my opinion probably one of the best trainers in the world. Be careful choosing a trainer. I took one of my dogs for a training boot camp and they really made my dog very inactive, and she was actually developing more problem. You can find a lot of answers to what ever problem you have. Good luck and hope the website helps.

True! Everyone says you can not train huskies, two of my classmates have huskies (Brothers) and in a few weeks will be ready to compete for their Companion Dog title. One of them is more obedient than my border collie!

Really it’s just that some breeds take longer to train. ACK Bulldogs participated in competitions .. heeling, sit, stay and even getting thin bells with owners scent on them. Yes, they can become lethargic and are not as active as most dogs, but they can still be trained .. even high levels required for ACK matches
