Training Collar Guide: Pick the training collar that best suits your pet

Help!Dog Training Collars?

Hi.I have 2 large chihuahuas and they bark at everything that moves.I don’t have allot of money to invest in training right now and am looking into training collars for barking.I watch Dog Whisperer and the basic technics work if I am close to the dogs but if I am in my yard they run away towards the fence when anyone walks by.HELP!!!!!Any suggestions?
Thanks for the answers so far.I found a Petco that has free info classes and dog training classes.I think that is a good start. To get informed and learn the safer options first. Thanks Ya’ll

  • my rottweiler was 2 and my neighbor complained about him barking all the time. i tried one of the collars and it just annoyed him but never stopped him from barking. i told the neighbor to f off, you just have to let dogs be dogs.

  • Training collars are more expensive than training classes. The good kind runs abou $120

  • I would not suggest a training collar on a dog that small. Their tiny necks might not be able to handle it. Why not look into a few good training books on the subject?
