How do you feel about anti-bark collars?
I been thinking about getting my dog one because he barks alot but I am worried it will hurt him. What do you think.

I HATE IT its like every time u spoke id give u an electric shock. its not nice dont do it please so antihumane. please there are many ways of making your dog behave without getting to that …that type of violence.

in all honesty i think its hella cruel i mean it is like shocking them every time he barks and it cud make him mean try looking up different ways of training him online or watch animal planet the show called "its me or the dog" u will honestly learn good tips from that show

I think that the electric shock ones are cruel(and can actually burn your dog on the higher settings), but the ultrasonic might be okay.

If you don’t know what you are doing it could hurt him. Honestly I have never gotten to a point where I need to use a tool for barking.
A firm NO! or a loud clap usually does the trick.
If your dog barks excessively is there a reason for it?
Is your dog bored? Is he getting enough exercise?

I think they’re a quick fix for lazy owners. I don’t recommend them. Training and exercise should be the solution.
