  • @CrazyDplusTyman You could try shaping a touch by first clicking/rewarding for looking at the posit-it and eventually only for touching it. You may also try rubbing some food that she loves on it.

  • My dog isn’t touching the sticky note thing. Do you have any other ideas how to make her touch it? Thanks

  • Brilliant video :D I want to teach my collie to do this :) ) Thanks xD

  • @BradleyHowingtonYo I’m always using different things to keep it fun even though Solea isn’t the the least bit picky. My favorite things to use are bits of cheese, hot dogs, boiled chicken, freeze dried liver and dog food kibble!

  • What are you using as a treat? :)

  • nice earrings!:D

  • I love your dog!! You’re such a great trainer. I think it’d be cool to be a pro trainer, but I don’t know if I have what it takes. Although, I did teach my dogs to do agility by myself with no prior knowledge about agility.

  • @sportacuslove You should be able to get a clicker from any pet store that sells dog products. If you are unable to find one, you can always use a word like “yes” instead. It will also work just as good!

  • @Besharm Great! Post a video if you can, I would love to see him.

  • i want that click from where can i gaet it??

  • best trainer on youtube…nice man….i got a 3 month and 8 day old german shepard, i think im gonna start teaching him how to close my door….haha …ciao

  • man i love ur video so much.. u r the best dog trainer in yourtube!!! its clear and understandable!!!

  • Easy to understand clear steps. 5 stars! Great vid! I’m already starting to teach post it note targeting for the trick ‘shake head no’..now I can use it for this trick as well!

    Thanks so much tab289!

  • excellent training, needs lot of patience but its rewarding..good job

  • So he is gently touching the card as it is stuck onto the door? I would try going back one step – and encouraging him to push it harder against your hand first before you stick it to the door. It might take a few training sessions so be prepared for it to take some time. The idea is that eventually you want to click only for the harder nudges, and not for the mild ones. You could try rubbing some food/treats on your hand or the paper…or practicing this when your dog seems hyper! Good luck!

  • How can you motivate your dog to give it a bit more of a push? My 7 month german shepherd just grazes the card with his nose, but the door doesnt close, it hardly moves. Any ideas? Beautiful pup btw

  • Your training videos are excellent! They are easy to follow, especially, this one. My dog picked this one very quickly.
