  • Well it took awhile but i trained my puppy to go one the pad awhile ago. he should be able to go outside and use the bathroom soon. @myteloneee, i do know how to take care of a dogs considering ive had one b4. its just that when i got her, she wasnt a puppy like the one i have now. and ive figured out how to deal with the school situation soo stfu

  • @10bLaCkJaCk21 I’ve just got a dog too, what I’m doing on school days is building a fence around his kennel a peepee pad, therefore, when he needs to go, he just walks out of his kennel and goes.

  • @10blackjack21 and @genny7172

you should NOT get the puppy. if you cant properly care for the animal (including being able to take it out every couple hours) then you shouldnt own the puppy. Do people not understand common sense today? wow

  • I have the same situation, got a puppy for xmas, and no one to watch her when at school most of the time, if you get any advice can you inform me haha.?

  • hey, can anyone help me, i have a baby chi, she’s 4mths now. and she started going potty on the pads and i’d treat her and all of this, never really pooped. but now she’s stopped everything, i need to train her quick cause we live in appts and need to keep clean..we have a balcony tho. ANY ADVICEEE?

  • This is a very good Idea.
    Makes a lot sence.

  • @10bLaCkJaCk21 Did you solve your problem cus Im going to have the same problem soon and I just wanted to know how you dealt with that.

  • Im getting a puppy for Christmas. I watched this video but my problem is that i have school and i don’t know what to do for my dog when im not home. I kno there’s going to be pee everywhere when i come home. But how can i prevent that from even happening? Plus dogs need to be taken out a lot. But if im at school, it won’t be able to…What should i do??

  • Great to learn how to transition the potty training from inside to outside. I have also learnt that you can tie a bell to the back door, and then everytime before you take your dog out to pee, rub his nose gently against the bell to ring it….then they learn to ring the bell when they want to pee. I hope my upcoming puppy will learn these tricks.

  • Nice

  • Thanks!

  • start out with a poodle and play with him/her all the time take him/her for walks on a daily basis (after meals and naps) feed him/or her twice a day. make sure she has her bussiness before the end of the walk.

  • thankyou madalyn that was helpful x

  • I think it was the ‘ok guys listen up’ not really the best way to start when asking for help!

  • i didnt say any thing wrong oh wow

  • this is so gay

  • lol your not gonna get tips if you type with those manners.

  • ok guys listen up im getting a puppy and im only twelve years old and my parents say if i want a puppy its my responcibility do u have any tips for a kid who is looking for a more playful dog?

  • my dog sniffs around for a minute then pees, so all i have to do is pick her up before she pees, always go outside with your puppy when they are going to the restroom!

  • Well when he goes inside never punish him that makes him want to go in the house when your not looking.
When he goes outside pet his head, give him a treat, tell him he is a good boy. Make him think going outside is good and inside is boring and soon enough he’ll be potty trained.

    Madalyn

  • first u gotta go 2 a pet store and get special cleaner for where it goes to da bathroom because even when u clean it up with regular cleaners the dog will smell it. go out with the dog to go to the bathroom. reward him when he does. watch him in another room where he can c u. when he lifts his leg start making a loud noise and pop out a da room. he will get it after a while
    hope this helps u

  • I was watching this one show on Animal Planet. They were training a dog how to goto the bathroom outside so if they have not gone in the house yet then take them outside for 5 minutes and walk him/her just back and forth. If they didn’t go in that five minutes then bring hem in and put him/her on your lap for 10 minutes or so then after 10 minutes go outside again and try over and over until he has it or she.

  • hi , my dog is 14 years old, we never potty trained him when he was a puppy , he lives inside the house and he tends to pee inside and outside of the house, outside we have gardens so we dont mind, but inside we dont like it, and i dont know what to do or say to him anymore, because he keeps doing it even though i clean the house multiple times, what do you suggest i could do with him? i know he is not a puppy so it will harder to train him now…

  • omg this really help
