“Training” my dog’s hair?
!? Question by GA – Amber is our new champion : “Training” hair of my dog Rivière had his first grooming experience three days ago. I only neatened his ears, feet and tail. I do not think there’s something else to do for me. I will be showing him in two weeks. I love my dogs grooming two weeks before the show because I do not really like to be looking like they were freshly groomed. I’ll probably make some adjustments here and there that day but nothing major and probably cut his mustache aussi.Maintenant, if you look at his picture you will notice that her hair on her back is slightly wavy and everywhere. My mentor said to begin “training” to make it right. I forgot to ask him what he meant because he was a little busy with work and had to answer another call, but I guess that means brushing river a few times a day and her hair blowing in the direction it grows? Dwaaaaa, it’s so cute! I want to line brush and blowdry, then buff the heck out of these cheveux.Mais I’m not the best person to ask, too, had my soft ass at our last show! My mentor said I had to strip some of the undercoat, but I would not do that to your dog without asking your mentor.ADD: The “dry coat”, it takes about is the chamois. (Pronounced Buff) You car dry with the same material, called a sham-wow, or you can buy them at PetSmart. Both are the same type of product.
