		<description>the thing about shock collars is that they&#039;re only effective if you&#039;re witnessing the offending behavior...and if you&#039;re witnessing the dog peeing on your furniture, then you&#039;re in a position to do something about it without using shocks.  Remove the dog and place her outside immediately.... then congratulate her A LOT when she does her business outside...every time she does her business outside.

If she&#039;s peeing on the furniture when you&#039;re not home, then you need to crate her...or designate part of a small room in your house (without furniture or carpet) for her to stay while you&#039;re gone.

If she actually pees all the time on the furniture while you&#039;re standing right there...it might not be a behavior problem at all...she might be excited, or frightened...or experiencing a health problem.  

Please don&#039;t use the shock collar for something like this though...that&#039;s not what it was ever intended for.</description>
